# Specifications

Document size requirements

| :--------- | :--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Web Portal | If you are using PearCheck's Web Portal, the portal smartly captures images below 3 MB and if you allow your customer to upload the document images, we only allow them to upload images below 3 MB. |
| API        | If you are using our API integration and sending us documents/selfies via API, we will return a 4XX error when the size is above 3MB.                                                                |
